Our New Future

An Observation of Change

The signs of change are all around us.

You can feel it in the air. See it when you walk down the streets.

Hear it in our children and feel it in our homes.

The signs of change are all around us.

You can taste it in our food. See and feel it in your clothes.

Hear it in your community and at the school board.

The signs of change are all around us.

You can feel it in your heart and the shift in how you now think.

See it in your marriage and how you work.

The signs of change are all around us.

You can see it in the weather.

Hear it as you listen to problems on the phone.

The signs of change are all around us.

You can feel and see it in the weight of your body.

See the violence in the cities and on the streets.

The signs of change are all around us

You can no longer stand or hardly watch your t.v.

As you watch protests take place on the streets.

The signs of change are all around us.

You are beginning to spend every night drinking yourself to sleep.

Wondering if you are dreaming.

The signs of change are all around us.

You are shocked to see animals disappearing.

People are disengaging.

The signs of change are all around us.

You have finally started to consider regularly praying.

Deep down you know that the direction of your toes is turning.

The signs of change are all around us.

Finding food may soon impact all humans.

Your desire for connection is growing.

The signs of change are all around us.

There’s confusion about how you got here and where you are going.

People can hardly tell if they are up or down, left or right, and in and out.

The signs of change are all around us.

The search for hope and happiness is rising.

People’s spirits are fighting.

The signs of change are all around us.

Technology is on the brink of self-creating.

We feel that we may lose control if we keep debating.

The signs of change are all around us.

There are more and more wars that continue occurring.

The call for peace and love is lost on current generations.

The signs of change are all around us.

When we look in the mirror, we do not know or recognize ourselves.

We question how we got so lost?

The signs of change are all around us.

Could it be that the final endgame is starting?

There’s a call on each of our lives to be the change that we are all needing.
